I’m Lorenzo Pasqualis. My lifelong journey in software began with my first line of code at age 12. That early start provided the deep, continuous technical foundation that has shaped my 35-year professional career—a career spent building everything from low-level embedded systems to enterprise-scale cloud platforms. This experience evolved from building systems to building the high-performance engineering organizations that create them. As an executive leader, I’ve guided teams through complex transformations, scaled platforms for millions of users, and co-invented patented AI systems, always connecting deep technology with strategic business outcomes. Over the past three decades, I’ve built and scaled software organizations from the ground up, leading large engineering teams through the most challenging technical transformations. I’ve navigated the evolution from waterfall to agile, from on-premise to cloud, from monoliths to microservices—and now, from traditional software to AI-native systems.

My experience spans the full spectrum of technology leadership: architecting resilient systems at scale, building high-performing engineering cultures, and guiding organizations through periods of rapid growth and change. I understand not just the technology, but the organizational dynamics, the political challenges, and the human factors that determine success or failure.
